Christmas is Coming....

11th October is the next Corsock Village Market at 9.30am to 1.30pm

We are very happy to have Loch Arthur Cheeses for the first time in October; these will be available from Mark on the Craigadam stall.

Stall holders are taking orders for Christmas and Hogmanay specials as follows:

  • Pam Cherry from Gingerbread Houses will be visiting the market to take orders for Christmas. These beautiful creations come gift wrapped.
  • Jean Young is making Christmas cakes and puds to order.
  • Annie Kelly is making shortbread and tablet.
  • Wigwam are making quince pies and mincemeat pies as well as sticky gingerbread all organic and ethically produced.
  • Sunnyside are taking orders for Gloucester Old Spot joint, ham and bacon as well as Rose Veal (ethically farmed) and shetland lamb.

Lots of other treats will be on offer
Sunnyside is bringing Dexter beef and Barrmurrie is looking to provide mutton in the future.

Following the huge success of the first Corsock Village market the following Stall holders will be attending on 12th July starting at 9.30am til 1.30pm:

Kirsty at Taste of Galloway---- Mutton and beef home grown

Dorreen at Sunnyside Farm---- Gloucester old spot pork and ethical veal and lamb

Jean from Laurieston--- Baking , cakes scone etc.

Annie from Crocketford--- Preserves

Wigwam Bakery--- organic bread and cakes

Craigadam--- Organic lamb, game and various burgers

John at solway smokehouse--- various smoked game fish and meat products

The first Corsock Village Market is taking place:

Saturday 14th June 2008
9.30am - 1.30pm


Stalls to include a wide range of local produce including beef, lamb, game, pork, chicken, eggs, smoked fish and cheeses, bread, cake and preserves.


Light refreshments available

All welcome, make shopping a fun family experience

No entry fees!


Pringles Bar and Post office is next door to the hall, lunchtime bar meals available.
